International cat and dog shows - where to go WikiPet.ru
International cat and dog shows. The difference between them is a week, so we can compare them with fresh memory and find out where to go with the baby and where not.
Of course, this is not Timka’s first trip to the animal exhibition. The first time he got to the international dog show in 2015, almost a month after birth. I then exhibited Sparky, but Timka still did not understand anything) His hyperactive mother with an awl in one place simply did not sit at home. Yes, and Sparky wanted to train a little so that he did not lose his knack.
His next trip to the exhibition is the autumn Tsatsib of dogs in this, 2017.
I can’t say that it was very easy - Tim pulled himself out, tried to run away all the time, screamed and screamed because he wasn’t allowed to go where he desperately wanted to go) At home he used to climb into Sparky’s cage and wallow with him there, but Timke’s exhibition didn’t understand why it’s impossible to get into healthy beauceron.
From the number of dogs that can be stroked and hugged, Tim's eyes widened. Not having time to approach one dog, he was already pulling his hands to the other. By the way, it’s best to come to the dog show after 13. I’ll tell you why. In the morning, before the rings, the owners prepare the dogs: they tint the wool, do the styling, shear, smear, etc. If you go up to the dog who is on the grooming table and ask her to pet, they will refuse you (most likely). Since you simply can spoil a long and difficult job.
If the dog has already passed the ring (and the majority of 13 are already free), then they have nothing to lose))) so the owners will willingly let you squeeze their beauties or beauties. Anyway, it’s better to ask again) all of a sudden, the dog has not yet entered the ring or is waiting for a photo shoot.
Regarding the attitude of dogs to strangers and children at the exhibition. Any dog that exhibits cannot be aggressive towards humans. Experts are carefully looking at this. Especially strictly with this at international exhibitions. Dogs can be aggressive towards each other, but not at all towards people, for this they will be disqualified. Of course, this does not mean that you can let the child grab the dog by the tail or poke fingers in the eyes. All should observe etiquette and elementary culture.
The room where the Tsatsib exhibition has been moved in recent years is the horse riding arena in Ratomka, very large and clean. There are spectator stands, and normal toilets, and cafes, and clean parking. Even a large screen with the broadcast of some rings. Getting there without a car is certainly difficult, but it's worth it. At the entrance to the arena are two sculptures of horses in full growth. Tim was crazy about them! One, while sitting on his hands, he kissed everything in the face, hugged and stroked, I pulled him a little)
Total: licked by a straight-haired retriever from head to toe, met a French bulldog, a husky, an amstaff puppy, and a couple of other breeds, helped to take several interviews with the Finns, applied - did not have time to follow him!
After the exhibition, we went to the stables marked "rental" (there, as a schoolgirl, I rode horses). They walked around, fed the horses, Tim stroked the live horse for the first time, was simply delighted. But the enthusiasm passed very quickly when it was time to leave ... the roar was terrible, you couldn’t put it in a child seat - I fought and bent ... only one phrase convinced him - there are horses too, let's go, we'll see others! The trip was very intense)))
A week later, another voyage awaited us - at the international cat show, which was held in Atlanta, not far from Castle.
Cats, of course, are wonderful animals and have nothing to do with my negative comments ... but!
Admission is paid, 5 r from an adult and 3 r from a child. My husband and I ... paid 10 rubles, thank you for not taking the money for the child. At the entrance, Timke was immediately presented with a ball from Royal Canine.
We went inside - a small room, even a room stuffed with rows of cat cages (mostly cloth with a transparent wall on one side, standing on tables), immediately a sharp smell of urine hit my nose. There is nothing to breathe, there is almost no lighting, everything is in the twilight. We went to the first cells. A very friendly girl allowed to stroke the kitten, which was lying on top of the cage. She gave Timka a feather on a stick to play with him.
Tim was not carried away for long - his goal was, as always, to cuddle with pussies. Onslaught with the first kitten, we moved on. Through literally two tables, we met very unusual lumps - these were Devon Rex!
To stroke them we were given a special hand disinfector, after which Tim got to work)) Surprisingly, cats and cats felt completely relaxed, willingly interacted with strangers and were very affectionate. They immediately told us that they were sold, named the price, described their habits, it was very nice to talk. Next - the cells opposite, on top of which there was a whole cat party! The husband was no longer moving away from the black handsome Scottish fold, and Tim was again handed a cat toy and he was trying to learn how to play with kittens.
As much as I could, I showed him what to do, explained, for example, that to beat a cat with a stick is not the best way to amuse him ..
Well, actually, this is all we were allowed to pet and see ... and then, I’m more than sure that it was partly out of a desire to sell kittens. Because when we moved to the next room (yes, three rooms in total), almost no one spoke to us, looked dismissively, and there were almost no people there - only closed cells (some were also covered with blankets on top so that no one I didn’t look), and one company of breeders who sat and apologized thumped, taking a whole row ... so what kind of cats were we don’t know ... one young man from that room with his wife / girlfriend / girlfriend showed us the abyssine, young and beautiful, and talked (it turned out, they are only planning a nursery, so not yet burnt).
Then I nevertheless approached the company that was celebrating, the third time a woman from the edge heard me, I asked to show cats from her extreme cage. Peterburgs are cats with a luxurious profile, like bull terriers almost, with big ears, graceful lines ..
They like me, I wanted to know where to look for them. Sent to St. Petersburg. They didn’t give a pat. That's all…. Tim began to act up and cry - he wanted to pet the cats, talk with them, but only looked at the cages ((freaking out that he couldn’t open the locks to touch the animals .. and the owners of these very cats and their cages, if they were standing nearby, they pretended not to notice how the child freaks out and cries.
That's honest - what do you want? Sorry or what?
As a result: Tim was hungry, burst into tears, and we went looking for where to feed the baby. A seedy mini stall, I don’t even know what to call it .. in short, some chocolates, chips, cola. Well, yes, still a terrible kind of sandwiches in the film. With cucumbers. In general, they sent us right to the Crown. We planned to return after, but, of course, did not return anywhere. There was no desire to return to this incomprehensible place, also to realize that you are paying for it.
Question to the organization of the whole event: catering, premises, light. Question to the cost of tickets - for what? I really don’t understand! Why is the international dog show free (and there are 10 times more animals), and the cat fee?
Conclusion - if the exhibition is held in Atlanta, it makes sense to go only if your goal is to buy a kitten. All.
There is nothing to do with the child. You really don’t look at anything, and there’s nothing to look at.
Why so categorically? Because before the exhibitions were in belexpo and in the sports palace. There are many places, light, all calm, everyone is visible. And then ... well, honestly, horror. I actually recommend the best at a petting zoo. Which one? Read our next article on "Country of Raccoon".
